At Sharon Shannon Elementary, our character trait of the month for February was kindness. Kindness means choosing to show care, respect, and compassion through our words and actions each and every day. These outstanding Shannon Stars who received the Character Trait Award have truly set the example by including others, offering helping hands, and spreading positivity throughout our school. We are so proud of these students for shining bright and making our school community a kinder, happier place for all! ✨

After a successful showcase at the state level, students in the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy fashion design program will represent Texas for the first time in school history at the Technology Student Association (TSA) national competition in June.
